A Federal Court decision on October 29, 2021 states that:
"The fact that he comes from a lower-income background
should not preclude him from seeking out and accessing
education opportunities". (2021 FC 1160)
This is the Federal Court of Canada decision regarding a judicial review filed by the applicant for a study permit whose application was refused on the ground that the officer was not satisfied that the applicant would leave Canada at the end of his stay because the applicant does not appear to be sufficiently well established that the proposed studies would be a reasonable expense.
This decision gives hope to the thousands who are planning to study in Canada. You don't need to be wealthy as long as you have provided elaborate reasons about your intention and ability to study in Canada.
